WENGER & Caran d'Ache, Black & Red Swiss Signature Serie This is a gorgeous fountain pen made by Caran d'Ache for Wenger of Switzerland, in a special "Signature Serie" called: Black and Red. Pen has laminated metal construction body,designed to offer maximum resistance to deformation with optimum comfort. The very hard red lacquer coating is resilent enough to be impact-resitant. Buttons, pen cap and case rings are made of polished German silver. The hardened clip steel clip is specially designed to resist normal wear and tear, coated wit a type of Aerolite. Fountain pen is fitted with a plastic feed, specialy adapted for use with even corrosive inks (up to pH of 1.5). Stainless steel (medium size) nib conatins an iridium alloy writting element to provide optimum wear resitance and durability.
